Doctor Alan Langstaff, originally from Sydney, Australia, he is president of Kairos Ministries, Inc, and has a vision for releasing people in ministry and training Christian leaders. Although now semi-retired, he has been involved in ministry for nearly 60 years.

Born in Sydney, Australia, where he trained and worked as an architect, he was originally ordained in 1969 by the Methodist Church of Australia. After receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1971, he and his wife Dorothy founded The Temple Trust, later named Vision Ministries, with the vision of the restoration and renewal of the church in the power of the Holy Spirit. His ministry in Australia found him holding large conferences and sponsoring crusades featuring world-renowned leaders in the charismatic renewal. He also edited a national charismatic magazine called Vision Magazine, established a Bible College, and hosted the Australian PTL Club television program. In 1980, after he turned over the leadership of Vision Ministries/Australia to another leader, he moved to the USA to develop an international base for his ministry.

From 1986 to 2000, he was the Senior Pastor of Antioch Christian Fellowship. The ministry of Antioch Christian Fellowship included ACTS International (Antioch Christian Training School), plus many specialized ministries reaching out to the community and the world, including church planting both locally and overseas. More recently, he was pastor at Church on the Hill, an Assemblies of God church in Chaska, MN.

He was the founding Apostolic Overseer of Omega Team, an international association of pastors, churches, and ministries based out of Excelsior, MN. For several years, he co-hosted a weekly television program called ‘Crossroads.’ He was a member of the General Committee that sponsored the 1996 Billy Graham Crusade in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Alan Langstaff is a member of the Board of Directors for Church Growth International, directed by Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho, who pastors the world’s largest congregation in Seoul, Korea. He was a member of the Apostolic Round Table, founded by Dr. C. Peter Wagner of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also a member of the International Coalition of Apostles (ICA).

A gifted preacher and teacher, Dr. Alan Langstaff has an extensive ministry of spiritually stretching Christians, enabling them to enlarge their vision so that they may reach their full potential in Christ. To this end, Dr. Alan Langstaff has traveled extensively throughout the United States and in many overseas countries speaking in churches and conferences of different denominations. He has also written a book called ‘Hedges.’ He is now semi-retired, as in 2021 he turned 86. However, he still retains a ministry called Kairos Ministry, through which he continues to minister to others. He also writes a weekly ‘Langstaff Letter’ to both stimulate thought and discussion concerning cultural and spiritual issues and also share inspirational and encouraging words.

Dr. Alan Langstaff and his wife, Dorothy, have two married daughters, Beth and Joy, six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

  1. Dear Ps Alan,
God bless your life and service to Jesus and His Bride.
My name is Paul Sames originally from Sydney also. I just wanted to Thank you.
I remember your article on how you drove through Sydney in the early days praying all night and interceding for Australia. As I remember, you sang and maybe composed the chorus “ It’s a New Day”. You ended up at Watson’s Bay and hearing the prophetic trumpet call of it’s A New Day for Australia. What a story of Grace and Truth.
I now live in Florida and I walked the beach praying in the Spirit today. The song New Day erupted from my heart and voice for the 1st time in maybe 45 years. Your night praying came to mind. I remember wellNew Day magazine and loved it. How true that word you had came true too.
It’s a New Day again for us and this time it’s the USA in 2020.
Love and prayer in Jesus—-Paul Sames

  2. Dear Ps Alan
My husband and I were filled with the Holy Spirit and became part of the Charismatic Renewal (out of the Baptist church) in 1970. One of our great sources of teaching were those tapes from the Temple Trust. Our lives have gone from strength to strength in God’s Hands and we just want to say a big, big thank you for your vision, your teaching and your example of a Godly man with a passion to build the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you.
Blessings, Ps John and Joan Pennicook
